Strategy for Incentive Bureau of North-West Istria
Toleranca Marketing was hired to prepare a strategy for the development of the incentive destination of North-West Istria for the period 2015-2020. In order to prepare this document, Toleranca Marketing conducted several workshops for the key players in the tourism industry of the city of Umag, Novigrad, Brtonigla and Buje and did an extensive benchmark analysis. Based on the assessment of the current situation, the results of the analysis and the potential of the destination, a comprehensive document containing the strategy for the next five years was written.
The document clearly stated why is incentive tourism important, where is incentive tourism in North-West Istria now and where it should be, what are the current challenges of the meetings industry of the destination, what are the next steps that needed to be taken, what is the communication strategy going to be like, what is the action plan for each year, how will they measure success,…
The document was well received by the tourism industry of the cities involved and based of the strategy, the Incentive office of North-West Istria will be founded in the near future.
