Conventa Crossover is the younger, bolder brother of Conventa Trade Show. It is the centre stage for leading experts in marketing and event organisation. The festival of events and experience marketing that Toleranca Marketing has been organising for the past six years.

This year, it took place from 26 to 27 August 2021 in hybrid form – live at Švicarija Creative Centre in Ljubljana and online on the Confiva platform. For the first time, Conventa Trade Show and Conventa Crossover conference were carried out in the same week, or as we called it – Conventa Week starting on 24 August 2021.



New technologies, changing audiences, and growing demand for more personalised experiences have disrupted the meetings industry. At the same time, the pandemic has offered us a unique opportunity to re-imagine how events can be organised. The central theme of the 6th Conventa Crossover conference was rather simple – finding out what events will look like AC (After Corona), and what they were like BC (Before Corona). World-renowned experts uncovered taboos and mysteries connected with the organisation of digital and live events, sharing knowledge on making events better, greener, and more sustainable after the corona crisis.



The main goal of Conventa Crossover is exchanging knowledge, ideas and promoting high-quality networking opportunities. The conference raised awareness about the changes that the pandemic is going to bring and opened a healthy conversation around it. There isn’t a better place to learn about the new reality of the meetings industry than at Conventa Crossover. The event is one of the few places where the event industry comes together to find out where the industry is heading through inspiring speakers and out-of-the-box session formats.



This year, we hosted over 30 inspiring individuals who have helped co-create and transform the meetings industry. We also opened the stage to a new generation of young and talented meeting planners and marketers. The event was attended by nearly 100 live attendees and another 100 participated online. Both audiences got the same opportunity to engage in the conference programme, from live voting for the Conventa Best Event Award to the chance to co-create the Ljubljana Manifesto document.
