THE CHALLENGE

On 17 November 2021, as part of the Slovenian Ambassador Programme, the Slovenian Convention Bureau asked us for technical assistance, holding an online award ceremony, presenting this year’s Slovenian Congress Ambassadors – 17 individuals, whose dedication, commitment, international involvement and perseverance helped Slovenia host international scientific, professional and other business and sports events over the past couple of years.

THE SOLUTION

Due to the epidemiological situation and high-profile professional background of the Ambassadors, the client, Slovenian Convention Bureau chose to carry out the event in online form. Our agency was in charge of preparing a detailed scenario for the event and coordinating the live stream. To break the monotony of an online event, we spiced up the programme with a musical performance by Maja Keuc – Amaya and Miha Koretič. During the event, short interviews with this year’s Slovenian Congress Ambassadors were screened, where they told more about their motivation for organising the event as well as its importance for Slovenia.

THE RESULTS

The live stream was smoothly carried out, watched by over 100 people on the website http://www.congress-ambassador.si/ and on the Vimeo platform. Attending the event in person in the Štih Hall at Cankarjev were Tadeja Pivc-Coudyser, Director of the Slovenian Convention Bureau. Opening speeches were also given by Maja Pak, Director of the Slovenian Tourist Board, and Petra Stušek, Director of Tourism Ljubljana.
