The main challenge, set by the client, was the time frame. We only had 3 hours after the conference concluded and before the evening event started. Everyone can book a tour guide and walk around Ljubljana, but we wanted to do something different. We wanted to make the participants remeber their walk through Ljubljana forever. The programme was prepared together with ETC Adriatic.

We sent the particiapants on our very own Martin Krpan’s smuggling tour. For those of you who don’t know Martin Krpan, he is the most famous Slovenian fictional character created in the 19th-century, whose profession was smuggling salt across the border.

On their journey through the Old City of Ljubljana, the participants stopped at 3 different places, where the locals told them more about Martin Krpan. Each of the three groups got assigned a “smuggling” teacher/guide and followed him across the city. At each of the smuggling points, the groups got a clue, a rhyme, which lead them to the next stop, finally arriving at the funicular to the Ljubljana Castle, where dinner was already waiting.

A very special venue in the Ljubljana Castle was chosen for the evening event, where the award ceremony also took place. We finished off the event with dinner prepared by Vivo Catering and some socializing with excellent music by our DJ in the background. For the participants to be able to brag about their unfortgetable experience to their colleagues, we also set up a Photo Booth.
