THE CHALLENGE

The Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic of Slovenia had chosen our agency as the organisers of the National Cycling Conference. The date and venue were already confirmed and the time for organisation was limited to only two months within which we had to create the programme, invite the speakers, set up the website, take care of the communication, engagement of participants, and logistics at the venue. Another challenge was organisation of the experiential part of the programme – afternoon cycling in the City of Kranj.

SOLUTION

Our suggestion to create a dedicated website for the event, although not planned at the beginning, was accepted by the organising team at the Directorate for Suistanable Mobility. In our opinion, a dedicated event website is crucial for engaging participants and further communication, as it allowed them to access up-to-date content in one place. Establishing trust between the organiser and the client is crucial for the successful organisation and implementation of a project, which is what we have achieved in the case of the National Cycling Conference.

THE RESULTS

Excellent teamwork resulted in a good turnout in line with the set objectives and high satisfaction among participants, speakers and partners, which was also reflected in the satisfaction survey we conducted immediately after the event.
