THE CHALLENGES:

For 10 years the Conventa trade show has been crossing the boundaries of a classic business event and is regarded as one of the most innovative events in the meetings industry. The starting point for the project was how to present to the market new, different, charming and undiscovered congress destinations in Eastern Europe. Conventa was the first show of its kind that showcased the countries of South East, Central and Eastern Europe to the international market – which Toleranca Marketing classifies as ‘New’ Europe. We consider that ‘New’ Europe is connected with the basic professional values of the congress industry – youth, energy and creativity – as is the case with the destinations that are promoted at Conventa.

THE SOLUTION:

Conventa remains a focal point for organisers of business events in ‘New’ Europe. In addition to the exchange of knowledge and experience, emphasis is placed on networking and establishing new business contacts. Every year more than 250 organisers from across Europe visit the trade show. A visit to Conventa is a really special experience; in two days it is possible to visit the trade show, take part in educational and social programmes and plenty more. In the past decade 1,318 providers of congress services from 18 countries, and 2,586 event organisers from 48 countries, have already experienced and taken part in Conventa, which has led to over 32,000 meetings taking place.
